Our Story

Shenandoah Ranch was inspired by Megan’s  life long love of horses and their ability to show off their athletic prowess.  Megan grew up in many disciplines of riding including western trail, hunter jumper, dressage and three day evening before finding her true passion in reining horses. Over the years it turned into a family affair. With a majority of the family involved in reining The Lindberg’s became more vested in their horses.

They then married their desire to breed and promote reining horses with their love of the beautiful wine region of the Sierra Foothills.  They met Mike and Nathalie McEntire and quickly realized they were the ideal partners.  With Mikes world class training abilities and international judging qualifications and Nathalie’s breeding expertise it was the perfect fit.  In 2021 Shenandoah Ranch was envisioned.  In 2023 the Ranch was completed.  In this beautiful facility, we can concentrate our efforts on breeding top notch prospects and train each of them with the time, care and consideration they need.

The ranch is built with the horses best interest in mind. Situated on 220 acres of rolling hills, Shenandoah Ranch has all the state-of-the-art amenities for our performance horses including a euro walker, round pen, 150 x 300 indoor arena, tree studded pastures and beautiful hacking trails throughout.  We are breeding a small number of quality horses annually, ensuring that each horse gets the time needed for handling and training.

We welcome visitors to come tour our barn, see our prospects and horses in training and enjoy the wineries and beautiful mining towns located just outside the ranch gates.
